Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an AlgoEdge account, downloading the AlgoEdge app, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Algorithmic Edge ("AlgoEdge," "we," "us," "our"). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old (consistent with the app's App Store age rating) and legally able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction. By using AlgoEdge you represent that you meet these requirements.

AlgoEdge is available worldwide where the App Store operates. Access is at your own risk and subject to your local laws.

3. What AlgoEdge Is — and Is Not

AlgoEdge is an educational trading simulator. It lets you trade virtual stocks with any ticker, run simulated strategies (momentum, RSI, EMA, MACD, Bollinger Bands), and copy publicly disclosed Congressional trades — all using real market prices but entirely simulated cash.

AlgoEdge does not place real trades, hold money, or connect to any brokerage account. All balances, positions, and returns shown in the app are simulated and have no real-world monetary value. You cannot deposit, withdraw, or lose real money through AlgoEdge.

AlgoEdge is NOT:

• A broker-dealer or brokerage
• A registered investment adviser
• A financial advisor
• A custodian of any funds or securities
• A way to place, mirror, or execute real trades

AlgoEdge is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or any securities regulator, because it does not provide brokerage services or handle real money. It is a game-like educational tool.

4. Not Financial Advice

Nothing in the AlgoEdge service constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. The simulated strategies, signals, scores, and analytics provided are for educational and entertainment purposes only.

The content is general in nature and impersonal. It is not tailored to any user's individual financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or tax position.

Real-world trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance of simulated strategies or public Congressional disclosures does not guarantee future results. The fact that a simulated strategy performed a certain way in the app does not mean it will perform similarly with real money. Consult a licensed financial professional before making any real investment decision.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your AlgoEdge login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it updated. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without authorization, and you may not manipulate the leaderboard through multiple accounts, automated play, or other abuse.

6. Ads, Purchases & Subscriptions

AlgoEdge is free to download and play. The free version is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob.

You may make optional in-app purchases, including a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase and, where offered, a recurring "Pro" subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment details. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, purchases are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

7. Service Availability

We provide AlgoEdge on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any defects will be corrected.

The simulation runs on cloud infrastructure and depends on third-party market-data and disclosure sources that may experience downtime, delays, or errors. During such periods, simulated trades, stop-loss logic, price updates, or leaderboard rankings may be delayed or temporarily inaccurate. Because no real money is involved, any such issue affects simulated data only.

8. No Real Trading; Educational Use

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AlgoEdge is a simulator — no real orders are placed and no real money is ever at risk through the app
• All portfolios, balances, gains, and losses shown are simulated and have no monetary value
• Simulated performance does not predict or guarantee real-world results
• You will not rely on the app as a basis for any real investment decision

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use AlgoEdge for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass any technical measures
• Use the service to manipulate markets, engage in wash trading, or violate any securities laws
• Access accounts or data belonging to other users
• Use automated scripts to abuse our API or rate limits

10. Intellectual Property

AlgoEdge, including its software, branding, and content, is our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your simulated portfolio and history.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALGOEDGE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AlgoEdge harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Service Changes

AlgoEdge is under active development. Features, simulated strategies, leaderboards, and user data may be modified, suspended, or deleted at any time without prior notice or compensation. We do not guarantee any particular feature, uptime, or data-retention level.

You agree that any data generated through your use of the app — including simulated trade history, settings, and analytics — may be reset or deleted as the service evolves.

16. Use of Politician Names

AlgoEdge references the names of public officials solely in connection with their publicly disclosed, official-capacity stock transactions, as reported under the STOCK Act and aggregated by public data sources. These references are factual and informational.

AlgoEdge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any politician, government office, or other individual named in the app. No claim of endorsement or association is intended or implied.

17. Third-Party Data Sources

AlgoEdge relies on data published by third parties, including Congressional disclosure aggregators and market-data providers. AlgoEdge does not control the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or continued availability of any third-party data source.

Errors, delays, or omissions in upstream data may cause the simulator to copy trades that do not reflect actual public disclosures, value positions inaccurately, or fail to copy trades it otherwise would have. Because all activity is simulated, AlgoEdge is not liable for any consequence arising from third-party data issues.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

19. Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

Agreement to Arbitrate

You and AlgoEdge agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the AlgoEdge service, or your use thereof (a "Dispute") shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small-claims court if your claims qualify.

Arbitration Rules and Forum

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator. Arbitration shall take place in San Diego County, California, unless the parties agree otherwise. You may participate by telephone or video conference.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND ALGOEDGE EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. NEITHER PARTY MAY BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, WHETHER IN COURT OR IN ARBITRATION.

Jury Trial Waiver

YOU AND ALGOEDGE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY for any dispute subject to this Section.

30-Day Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to info@algoedge.pro within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, the email address on your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

Exceptions

This arbitration section does not apply to: (a) claims for injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property rights; (b) claims that qualify for small-claims court in your jurisdiction; (c) claims that, by applicable law, cannot be arbitrated.
